Travis sniffled as he just stood in the pile of blue flowers. "Y..You love me..?" Travis sniffled some more staring at the bluenette. Sal nodded quickly "Yes! You blonde idiot! I love you!" Travis was about to say something when he broke into another coughing fit, blue flower petals crawling up his throat, Sal panicked and yelled for help as Travis fell to his knees "Someone help! Help us!" Sal crouched down to Travis and pulled him in a hug trying to comfort the yellow boy.
-balance it out! add some neutral colors so it's not so bright.
-don't go all out! i only used 6 neon colors, but tried to make it so that the amount of each color was balanced.
-don't make it too cluttered! make sure to use a minimal amount of accessories, and more colors, or vice versa! if you want everything to be super bright, don't add lots of details. that can make your character look kind of cluttered.
these are just ones i use when working with neons, you don't have to use them at all if you don't want to!👐
and if you do want to use the tips, try to find the right balance of each one in your character design, or add new guidelines you follow! good luck dude!

Update to the challenge board! (sorry if I’m spamming, peeps seem to enjoy these, and I was thinking of some more challenges that I’ve done.)
#1- Three emoji challenge (you use three emojis to make a girl.)
#2- Light source challenge (you create a light source, and try to color your girl like the source actually exists. Difficult but fun.)
#3- Fixer-upper challenge (you take a randomized girl and fix her up.)
#4- In the dark challenge (you set the background to complete darkness, and make some parts black for a neat effect.)
#5- Neon challenge (make a neon girl!)
#6- Parts challenge (someone gives you a template of a few parts, all white. You have to use those parts to make a girl)
#7- Yeet’s Rage challenge (make one of your girl’s appearances different by putting them into rage mode.)
#8- Iemonn’s fav emoji challenge (make a girl off of your favorite emoji!)
#9- Smash up challenge (combine two or more of your favorite girls!)
#10- Upside-down challenge (make it look like your girl is upside down.)

try not to make the design literal, base the design more off of what the emoji means when somebody texts you with it!
