thats a good thoery and all but everyone is still alive when you play, and Chara died from trying to break the barrier before having a chance of resettign the timeline, therefore making it a FACT written in stone from what we know that she never managed to kill anyone in the first place, because they are still alive and the timline is not reset, and also she never made it past the ruins because she was adopted by Toriel, and her main goal was to destroy humans, not monsters
