Here's my go at A Pine Tree's challange to make a OC based on a book/movie
Finch by Jeff Vandermeer. This OC is basically a cute version of the fungus/spore based creatures called Grey Caps from the book.
Annihilation (First book in the Southern Reach Trilogy) by Jeff Vandermeer. This OC is basically the main character known only as the Biologist who explores an anomalous zone called Area X. There is a film based on the book, but its sooo different that it might as well be it's own thing entirely.

I have 0 self confidance or self esteem and when a Siren songs all men around her see her as the woman of their dreams so yeah, also i like singing so it'd all work out! i feel like i'd be a very timid siren becuz i get scared easily
