My sky oc (pt one)

Name: Alune (ah-loon) 

Reason for name: it's cute 

(physical) age: can range from 8 to 12 years old 

(mental) age: very old, very wise, like someone’s cool grandma 

Maturity: that of a 12-year-old girl. 

Height: while she usually goes around as a Chibi her default height is literally the tallest you can be, why does she want to be so teeny? I don’t know ask her yourself  

Mask: when she isn’t vibing around with her Chibi mask, she usually goes *gasp* maskless *the scandal* and if she MUST wear a mask, she likes to go with the wasteland crab whisperer from the season of the lightseekers 

Hairstyle: her 3 main hairstyles are the forest ultimate reward, the days of bloom hairstyle and the timid bookworm hairstyle  

Cape(s): she likes to use the shushing light scholar, the light whisperer cape and the days of bloom cape. 

Pants: she wears bell bottoms or the skirt. 

Her typical appearance is the Chibi mask paired with the forest ultimate reward, the shushing light scholar cape, the bell-bottomed pants and as an accessory she carries around a bioluminescent umbrella. If she wants to get a bit fancy, she’ll change up her cape and hairstyle for a while, not too long though.  

She stands with her arms in front of her (the vault stand-y thing) and her voice is of the ghost manta or the jellyfish 

She lives in the vault, after the events of her ever so tragic backstory that definitely isn't one big movie trope no siree, she made her way through the realms once more, settling down in the vault, she found it quite peaceful, after a bit of searching she found a little cave/room-y thing behind some of those rock square diamond knowledge things that I'm calling books now, anyway, she placed down a few candles, lit them up obviously and got to work making herself a home, it’s quite nice actually, with luck I'll be able to have like an image of what I'm picturing but for now, now just imagine. Now, she could’ve gone and joined some of the colonies in the wasteland, she actually has a few friends there, but she prefers the vault, almost nobody lives there, she doesn’t quite get why, it’s absolutely gorgeous, she loves everything about it, how nice and quiet it is, how the ceiling seems to just go on forever, how the air around her is filled with speckles of warm softly glowing light, making everything look like it’s filled with thousands of tiny wonderous stars.... but maybe it isn’t really anyone else's thing, to her it seems like most are focused on trying to bring back the light to the realms and banish the krill and whatnot, Alune thinks the realms are fine as is, of course... it’s been at least one hundred years since she’s left the vault for more than a day at a time, so her opinion on the realms doesn’t really count for much here. Although she spends most days alone (Haha alone sounds like Alune, I just noticed) she has a few friends from the colonies out in the wasteland, and they come to visit her from time to time, bringing her small gifts like dried rock crab meat, smoked rock crab meat and as a special treat candied rock crab meat- or no, not the meat, they candy the shell, it’s an acquired taste to say the least. Her little home is situated on the third level of the vault, there she can have a clear view of all those who pass through her home and occasionally, she helps them on their way. This happens rarely though as she likes to keep to herself and honestly.. Finds moths annoying as heck. Alune is absolutely FASCINATED by the krill and rock crabs, and even keeps a rock crab as a pet (this was a long difficult process, it was very worth it though), to keep track of her little friend (whom she has named jelly) she’s tied a bit of ghost manta membrane around her (yes jelly is a girl) body in a little bow (one head cannon I have for the ghost manta’s and the jellyfish is that for up to 3 weeks after dying, if given a constant light source, their membrane, bones anything of the sort will continue to glow). Yes, it’s weird how she eats rock crab and also has one as a pet, but honestly, what else is she going to eat, ghost manta’s are endangered and thus are much harder to find / hunt, and she doesn’t really like the taste or the texture of them (another ghost manta head cannon I have is that the texture / feel of one is very slimy, and they’re covered in a mucus like film when alive, when dried their skin is almost like a silk ribbon).

STORYTIME: 

So in my new school I don’t really feel welcome yk. I mean everyone here is a certain type and I’m the opposite. This is a case where magnets can be thrown out the window because opposites do not attract so I’m kinda left out but they try their best to make me feel welcome because even if we’re different we’re friends. Then this one girl is just the worst, today she went live and most of the 8th grade joined but then she started talking about how there was one girl she really didn’t want to join guess who, its me. And I understand she doesn’t know my user so she didn’t know it’s fine it’s not liek everyone is gonna like me but no. She goes out of her way at school to occasionally make faces at me, ignore me and just be mean in general. Like girl ok you don’t like me but don’t be passive aggressive when all I did was exist near you. I’m already having a hard enough time but she just has to make it harder. What makes it worse is she’s such an attention seeker. She wants everything to be about her. Like the world revolves around her like come on girl not everything is about you. Idk what she’s going through but that’s not an excuse to be rude to other people.
