In the midst of all this, a rich man takes on a new hybrid to keep as a "pet", and eventually the two actually fall in love, with the man being able to finally see the hybrid as an equal. However, in a world where humans and hybrids are actively kept as separate and unequal as possible, will the two be able to overcome the obstacles?

The amount of undigested food in my body is accumulating and I'm not sure how much longer my body can withstand not bringing it all back up. And I'm fatigued because I've been doing a lot of work AND I have to cook later today. Not to mention I am sweating BULLETS because where I am, the average summer temperature is above 50ºC or 122ºF.
