So you know how, when their owners are at work, dogs sit at the door and wait for them. Then if their owners travel for a long time and come back the dog will still be waiting and still remember them and they have a cute moment. Well if a cat's owner left for 0.1 seconds the cat will have completely forgotten they exist and just not care. Like I travelled to paris once and when I came back my cat just... ran away thinking I was a stranger.
A lot of people hate cats but clearly you've never cuddled up with one as you pet it and slowly you both fall asleep both you and the cat content with everything around you. I have. Multiple times. One time this particular kitten was very active and crazy but I was laying down and he lay right on top of my head playing with my hair and I fall asleep then he falls asleep and it was just the cutest little thing ever my mom even took a picture. I woke up and he was still asleep so I waited for him cause there's no way I'm gonna disturb the little fella. Next up was when my cat, Lala, sat next to me on the couch and I was petting her and she fell asleep first. So I was petting her and then bam I'm fast asleep. She ended up waking up a while later and leaving but still cute anyway.
So did you know cats have the most interesting personalities. I'm not even kidding the amount of idioms that have to do with cat's personalities is quite a few if you didn't know. Take Lala for example, Lala is a brat. She thinks the world revolves around her and she is better than you. You don't own her, she owns you. Heck she even sashays around. She couldn't walk normally for the life of her, she needs to be a diva. Then there's Sugar, the only cat we still have now, he's afraid of his own shadow. He's pretty calm and domestic. Also a Turkish Angora. He's got a lot of fur and sheds like crazy. He's also obsessed with food and will not stop asking. But he is also kind of a brat. For one he plays the favorites game. My sister is the one he likes the most but the rest of us are garbage. He wouldn't care if you died, in fact the only problem he'd see is food. Screw your dead body. Then Princess, Princess is an absolute BEAST. She attacc, she attacc, but most importantly she attacc.

I’m supposed to get a corona vaccine at school later and the paper had a checklist and one thing it asked about was ADHD or concentration problems. Now I don’t have ADHD but I do have concentration problems so I ticked that and my mom just said “oh yeah you might have ADHD.” And I was like… what? Last time I checked I didn’t have the symptoms. So then she goes on about how after a bunch if research she found that I might have ADHD and I still don’t believe her so any experts please tell me the truth.
Concentration issues aren't the only part of adhd, its honestly only a small fraction of it
You could be suffering from intrusive thoughts (not omg i should drink 3 monster energy drinks uwu, but like actual disturbing stuff), umm you could have uh- a really low self esteem, another one is super mega focus on certain interests, occasionally to the point of forgetting to eat, drink, sleep or do anything else really (it can be mild though, like one example with me is for like a few months i ONLY listened to Hamilton), uhhh a lack of hygiene is another, stuff like a really messy room, not showering for days- weeks even, not brushing ur teeth ect ect, umm theres stuff like tics.. you probs know what those are, there's stimming (both happy and bad) these can be physical or vocal stims, (more of my own examples are hopping up and down, smacking myself on the head and um incoherent whispering to myself), you could have trouble regulating your moods (i.e: anger issues), uhh um
These aren't always a 100% indication to adhd and symptoms can vary, I'd recommend doing a lot of reserch on your own and going in for an evaluation before self diagnosing 🙂
i only said that because a lot of the time, from my own personal experience that intrusive thoughts get watered down to being just thoughts, stupid ideas when they are so. Much. Worse.
And i felt it was necessary to say just to kinda set the two apart, in case someone goes "omg i have intrusive thoughts because one time i saw a wasp and thought what if i squish it instead of running away"

You could be suffering from intrusive thoughts (not omg i should drink 3 monster energy drinks uwu, but like actual disturbing stuff), umm you could have uh- a really low self esteem, another one is super mega focus on certain interests, occasionally to the point of forgetting to eat, drink, sleep or do anything else really (it can be mild though, like one example with me is for like a few months i ONLY listened to Hamilton), uhhh a lack of hygiene is another, stuff like a really messy room, not showering for days- weeks even, not brushing ur teeth ect ect, umm theres stuff like tics.. you probs know what those are, there's stimming (both happy and bad) these can be physical or vocal stims, (more of my own examples are hopping up and down, smacking myself on the head and um incoherent whispering to myself), you could have trouble regulating your moods (i.e: anger issues), uhh um
These aren't always a 100% indication to adhd and symptoms can vary, I'd recommend doing a lot of reserch on your own and going in for an evaluation before self diagnosing 🙂

i only said that because a lot of the time, from my own personal experience that intrusive thoughts get watered down to being just thoughts, stupid ideas when they are so. Much. Worse.
And i felt it was necessary to say just to kinda set the two apart, in case someone goes "omg i have intrusive thoughts because one time i saw a wasp and thought what if i squish it instead of running away"
