Nuts do not go in chocolate cake and whoever said they do is lying! Listen I get nuts in chocolate, mostly hazelnut but in cake? Now you’re pushing it. There is no way and I mean no way people actually think it’s a good idea to put nuts in a chocolate cake. They contribute nothing to the flavor because the chocolate overpowers it. They contribute nothing to the texture cause I don’t wanna be feeling something crunchy in a soft food. They contribute nothing to everything! They are just pointless and should not be put in cake. I don’t like them. Ok I understand if you want to put nuts on the frosting of vanilla cake as decoration but other than that… NO I repeat N-O! CAPITAL!!!! Not even on fondant!! It makes me so angry and I want it to stop just please stop putting nuts in freaking CAKE!!!!!!!!!!!
