I think it's cause in a way it is kind of rooted in reality and isn't completely absolutely fantastical with smthn like magic or smthn. It's a living being so it is in some way connected to the real world, even if it's fantasy, and that's why it bothers me so much that, according to logic, nothing in that movie should work the way it does.

I've been to Paris, in Paris, if you want to go LITERALLY ANYWHERE, you take the metro, I've been on that thing enough times to know what it looks like and it did NOT look like that.
