Recently I’ve been finding dead flower petals leading to my attic inside my house, and the painting of a teenage girl in the dining room (I’ve always found it creepy) its eyes seem to follow me. Dont get me wrong I’ve also thought the girl was pretty but now… it’s different… when my mother died on her grave the next day was a dead flower, the same type of flower leading to the attic. A few nights ago when I wanted a drink of water, I passed the portrait of the girland it moved. I nearly shouted in surprise instead, I did the stupid thing. I talked to it. Yep. To a painting of a girl I never knew. “Who are you..?” I asked it, The girl tilted her head and mouthed one word “attic” Now I was freaked out, not only could the painting move IT UNDERSTOOD ME. I ran upstairs, heart pounding as I followed the trail of flower petals. I knew it was stupid to try it, but you never know. Maybe the ghost and I can be friends? “No… that’s stupid.” I thought to myself as I opened the attic. I gasped allowed when I noticed the same teenaged girl in the painting, surrounded by the same flowers that were on my mother’s grave. She looked at me and smiled kindly, but it had slight sadness in it "𝖎𝖒 𝖘𝖔𝖗𝖗𝖞 𝖋𝖔𝖗 𝖘𝖈𝖆𝖗𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖞𝖔𝖚..." She said she did really sound sorry “it’s- it’s ok..” Why was I trying to hold a conversation with a girl from the afterlife? No idea. Dont ask why. ((AHAHAHAHAHAHAH AUTHORS HUMOR FOR YA)) I realized I was still on the attic ladder, so I climbed up. The girl shimmered as I got closer and I got a good look at her face one of her eyes was a flower, and there were vines growing from her chest area and up wrapping over her neck. I spent an hour up there with her and learned her name *insert character twos name* was quite kind and cared a lot about me.
